Panel Talk: How does green design drive revenue and community?

On 18 September 2025, OCULUS Associate Director Claire Martin will participate a panel discussing the design and experience of biophilic luxury at NoVacancy. Held on Gadigal Country at ICC Sydney, NoVacancy is a conference and exhibition focusing on technology, commerce, design, and experience within the hotel and accommodation industry.

Part of a series of Design Talks, Claire will join Falk Peuser, Principal at FK, and Samson Tiew, Director and Founder of One Design Office, to reveal more about the design process for 1 Hotel Melbourne at Seafarers on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country. OCULUS also designed the adjacent Seafarers Rest Park, on the banks of the beautiful Birrarung (Yarra River). The panel discussion will be moderated by Laura Hamilton O’Hara, Chief Executive Officer, Living Future Institute of Australia,
