URBNSURF

The waves are flowing at URBNSURF Sydney, in the heart of Homebush on Wangal Country.

The city’s first surf park opened on 13 May 2024. It’s Australia’s second wave-generated surf park, joining URBNSURF Melbourne which opened in 2020.

The OCULUS-designed landscape links ClarkeHopkinsClarke’s architecture to the waves, with careful consideration of the adjoining Haslams Creek ecosystem.

Previously a carpark, the site has been transformed to deliver waves suitable for all levels from beginners to experienced surfers. More than just a wave pool, the park also features a surf academy, leisure swimming pool, a surf shop, health and wellness centre, resort-style cabanas, and food outlets.
