Shijie is a landscape architect with more than six years of professional experience across a wide variety of public realm, urban infrastructure renewal, mixed use and residential, educational, masterplanning, nature trail and tourism projects. He has been involved in various types of projects in all stages, locally and regionally, including projects in Christmas Island, Hermannsburg, and Bathurst.

Shijie’s interests come from exploring the potential opportunities from relationships between people and their unique backgrounds, biases, and perspectives, and their environment, within the context of interplay and influences of ecological, cultural, and historical characteristics of a place.
