Matthew Traucht


With more than a decade of landscape-based cultural resource management experience and degrees in anthropology and landscape architecture, Matthew brings to OCULUS a wealth of experience in collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies, tribal groups, non-profits, and academic institutions on a diverse range of complex projects.


Master of Landscape Architecture, University of Minnesota

Bachelor of Arts, University of New Mexico

He has worked as an archaeologist in New Mexico, has participated in multiple UNESCO World Heritage projects, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa, and has documented an array of cultural landscapes across the country, including National Historic Landmarks, national parks and monuments, and properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
